Hi all! I just bought a 1972 CB350 K4 in Bacchus Green. It has 7590 miles and has only had <2000 miles clocked since 1974. It runs beautiful. Plans for it include new tires and new rear shocks. The tank has various scratches, and the side covers and upper forks have some fading going on. Would like to take it down and get re-painted, but it will be driven as is this summer. Even recieved the owners manual for this bike!

I've got a few questions, so I'll get myself to the tech area soon.

Thanks for your link! As I look at threads like yours, I see more and more things that need to be cleaned up!

The center stand rubber is is tacked to the muffler via a small bracket (like the kickstand rubber)

I seem to remember a "pantera" from the last HondaTwins site... Hmm...?

Anyway, that's one BEAUTIFUL survivor you've got there! Looks to be the original tires even....? :D Wow..

Pretty sure it wasn't me! This bike was a deal I couldn't pass up. Picked it up, did a little searching and found this site. Looked like good people on here and signed up.

Pantera comes not from the heavy metal rock band, but from a 28' twin engine powerboat that we have.

Thanks for all the good words on the 350. The tires are Bridgestone Safety:10 tires. They've got to be original. They are hard as a rock and ride like crap. I'm going to use them as some sort of picture frame in the shop.

This one's lot in life for the next few years will be a ridden, well maintained survivor.

I've got those Bridgestone Safety tires on my CL350 too. I've been riding them around a little and they are terrible. They are extremely cracked all the way around right next to the rim. I've got some Avon's just waiting to be spooned on....probably tomorrow.

I got the Avon Roadrider. The sizes are 100/90-18 rear and 90/90-19 for the front. I originally wanted something more keeping with the era of the bike but I decided I wanted to ride it a lot so I upgraded to a better tire.

BTW, my Bridgestones are Safety:Super 10's. They must have been replaced once. The bike had 4400 miles on it when I got it and there is too much tread for that many miles.

Hey GB, You are thinking about "Pantera1973" and he is presently a member of the hondatwins.com. ;) And he's all about "The Car", because he has one. ;)
