hello! just bought the thing in maryland and drove it back to philadelphia in a rented mini-van (apparently they're useful for something)

here are shitty camera phone pictures of getting the bike home.

temporary home for it.

girlfriend approves. loves it more than i do, i think!

err this one got resized smaller than the rest.

this is my first bike. i own an '87 200sx and it gets terrible mileage. bought a house much further from work so i got a bike to make the commute more affordable. wanted something old and cheap that i wouldn't kill myself for dropping on the ground while i'm learning.

i've got a lot of questions! i'm going to go search around for answers before i open my big mouth.

You can kiss yer' little bike goodbye, bud.
That's a great girl bike, especially a tall(ish) girl like her.
You'll fix it, she'll ride it.

End of story, resign yourself.......

i'll fight her for it! is it a "girl bike" because it's light and has a small engine? i don't need a large displacement for city commuting. likely won't ever be going over 50, especially since the highways are awful; i stay off 'em.

thanks for the kind-ish welcome :p
