Help!!
Has an issue with loud bang while trying to start. Believe to be timing??!
Quick back story; Was starting/running decent when left spark plug got cross-threaded. Was first going to remove head to correct/replace. Started taking apart points plate loosening tappets and head then realized would have to remove engine etc. so research had me install “Time-Sert” spark plug insert carefully with grease to catch shavings. Put back together and after valve adjustment/tappet adjust -after 5 seconds of turn-over got the big bang on right cylinder that blew part of exhaust muffler out where it was rusty near exit end. Re-checked all of above but switched coil (non-plug) wires only to have same loud bang after 5 seconds of turn-over on left cylinder that blew part of exhaust muffler etc. Noticed gas spitting out of back of carbs during turn over before bang.

HELP!!!! Notes-new coil, new battery, new plugs, new oil, carb adjusted and idling/running before above.
Set timing with static lamp-lamp lights right at “F” mark when turn engine counter clockwise by hand.
Thanks in advance for any in-sight-scratching head.
