hey all you gurus out their i just put a new rectifier on the bike. the other one was shot. i was wondering if anyone can tell me the correct way to test the stator and what the values should be. i have a multimeter but am not sure if i am testing it correctly

Unplug the alternator from the harness.... Read AC voltages across the yellow and pink wires at idle and around 3500-4000 RPM..... If you get anywhere around 30+ VAC at revs, the alt is fine....
