Can somebody tell me if this hole is supposed to be plugged with something. It's the bottom of the muffler for a CL450 K3-4. I just got it on e-bay and my bike doesn't have the original exhaust to compare to. I suppose it could be a weep hole for condensation :?
Anyway opinions and answers are greatly appreciated.
Hi, your assumption that it may be a weep hole, to drain condensation, is correct. My CB450 exhaust has the same just after the header joins the exhaust.
Clean that with some Chrome cleaner and 0000 steel wool. It works great. Chrome cleaner is getting hard to find though.
