AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum plans open house this Sept. 12
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. That's when the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio, will open its doors to visitors from near and far for a free day of family fun, community and motorcycles.
"The idea is to kick back, enjoy the day and make it a special time for our neighbors in the local community who think motorcycles are cool, whether they ride or not, or just want to know more about this great destination here in their own backyard," says Museum Operations Manager Katy Wood. "With a full slate of activities -- and the world-class AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame at the center of it all -- you'll find plenty to like. Plus, you can't beat the price!"

Museum also offers free admission on Smithsonian magazine's 5th annual Museum Day
On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum will participate in the fifth annual Museum Day, presented by Smithsonian magazine.
"We are proud of our motorcycling heritage, and we're looking forward to sharing the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame with Smithsonian magazine readers and Smithsonian.com visitors this Sept. 26," said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. "The stories of the amazing people who shaped our sport, pastime and lifestyle are exciting and inspiring. We're confident that everyone who takes advantage of this program and visits the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame will agree."

Boy, I'd like to go, but we just got back from an 1,100mi. trip yesterday. Too saddle sore to spend another day on the bike.
