I've got a couple (more than a couple) questions that I'd like to put here instead of making several more threads if that's OK??? If not, I apologize.
I just got the crankshaft back from my guy in TN. It checked out fine. It has almost zero wear and is well within specs. What an amazing piece of engineering it is. Just WOW.
1. Is Hondabond the best for sealing the case halves? If not, please advise.
2. Should I upgrade my charging system? Or will it be OK to run OEM as I'd like to keep it as original as possible. <<I can't state this fact enough. I'm an absolute purist.
3. What's the deal with the deletion of the yellow wire in the headlight circuit? Is this recommended procedure nowadays and what is the benefit of doing so?
4. Who can recommend a quality 1/4" drive torque wrench that I don't need to sell my plasma to own?
5. The clutch steels are good, should I replace the frictions? The bike only had 20K on it before tear down.

4. You need a 3/8" drive. I recommend Craftsman for quality X price.
5. Should not need new ones, but you can measure them.
