I just finished putting together a cb350 that I haven't gotten running yet. (Going to adjust cam chain, timing etc next) I tried to sync the slide idle height using a 3/16" drill bit. Is this an ok height to begin with to at least get it running before it's dialed in?
In the guidelines I've read for the drill bit method the size of the pit is based on the idle speed, but since I don't have it running yet I just need a value to start with while I eliminate variables. Idle-air screws are backed out 1 1/4 turns, slides are synced.
