Converting from a single disk to dual-disk front brake on Honda cb450 with cb750 fork legs. Is the stock 450 master cylinder up to the task? What master cylinder do you recommend? What do you recommend for a dual brake line splitter? I do plan to covert to braided brake lines also. Thanks for all comments/suggestions, danWI

Why not just be safe and use all the front brake hardware from the 750? That way the splitter will bolt directly onto the triple tree just like from the factory and the handlebars are both 7/8" so theres no problem with the master cylinder fitting plus you'll know it was designed for the brakes you're using.

The 450 master does not have a large enough piston to "push" enough fluid volume to fully actuate two calipers..........You either need one from a dual set-up, or an aftermarket one designed for duals......As for the "splitter", you can simply use a longer banjo bolt and "stack" the hose ends......

The 750 front end did not come with master cylinder and brake lines... so i need to adapt something to work out. I'm looking at a KZ750 bake set-up right now. need to mock it up yet...
