I purchased my 1982 450 Nighthawk fifteen years ago from the original owner. It came with two sets of luggage rack support brackets. One set fit my Nighthawk perfectly and the other set did not. The bracket would hit the side cover but the bolt holes lined up. I was cleaning up my shop and just found them after all of these years. I would assume that they are for a CM450 of the same year but I am not sure. One of the brackets has stamped in it "MC" then under that "HK31". Could anyone enlighten me as to which bike they would fit and a value? Many thanks!

Does anyone know how I can research this? I spent a couple of hours online trying to find something but was shut out. I tried calling the Honda dealership and they were no help.

I can't say I've ever seen that style of rack, don't know what to suggest unless you can find old accessory catalogs

It looks like the mounting holes are about 9 and 1/2 inches apart. That's close to what I measure on my CM's. I would be interested in grabbing them off you. Do you have the cross piece as well? I am not far from you. I was born in Chatham.

I used the cross piece (rack) with the other bracket supports on my 450 Nighthawk. I would be interested in selling them.
