I am rebuilding my 1971 CB350 K3. I am at the point of adjusting my valves and want to make sure I haven't made a mistake someplace.
I still have the head cover off at this point.

For the Left side I have the line on the Cam Sprocket horizontal and the little tab on the cam facing up. The LT mark is is aligned. As I turned the motor around twice to get back to this point I realized I am not on the compression stroke. Is this correct? I thought that if your aligned at LT Top Dead Center that this should be on the compression stroke?. Thanks in advance for your help.

Since the cam turns half the speed of the crankshaft due to the 4 stroke principle, the other TDC (LT) is exhaust stroke
