hey guys,
ok, so I have a 1978 cb400 hawk II that I've done some work to and after putting everything back together I see a strange problem.
I replaced the left-hand controls completely, there was an electrical problem with the horn button that started a small fire in the controls. The horn itself was also affected and replaced. After a rewire, I turn the bike on and everything seems fine while in neutral but If I switch gears all function from the left controls cuts out, no headlight, horn, turn signals.
I imagine I somehow rigged the power wrong and have made the gear change an on/off switch. Does anyone have some advice on this? Possibly a full wiring diagram of the left-hand controls?
Thank you,
