Good morning,
I am writing to you from Italy. I have been reading you for years but have never written anything.
I am rebuilding a cb250k engine (rockers -286- and original cammes matched).
The engine will remain original, as will the exhausts.
I have adapted 29 keihin cr's and plan to fit them.
In your opinion will they fit or will I have problems or loss of hp?

High performance carb meant to run at wide open throttle. Needs matching high performance exhaust and extensive tuning. Do you want to ride or play tuner and when you do ride is it going to be at wide open throttle. You will also need to look at updating the ignition system with better wiring, coils etc.

Stock CV carbs with stock exhaust give very good all round performance and there is a knowledge base to help with problems. You are probably going to be on your own with this set up.
