Seat & Tank lenghts were different between the CB & CL but not between years.
You need to match CB Tanks with CB Seats and Vice Versa but otheriwse they will all fit together.
The exception is the early Seats had a Rear Hinge and later seats a Side Hinge.
If I remember correctly the hinge change over was 70-K2 to 71-K3 for the seats
My '71 CB350K tank fits my '73 CB350G and vice versa. I would imagine a '72 tank would be no different. The seat latching setup is different (no lock on the '71) but both of mine are hinged on the side.

When engine warm and I open (edit: closed) choke while riding nothing happens, even at 6-7000 rpm.
Otherwise everything else seems fine. Revs up...
Hey guys, i removed the carbs off my cb350. Tried to get the bike to run, no luck. Have spark, but no fuel at all. when i remove the plugs after a few cranks they are bone dry - no fuel. No fuel will even get into the fuel bowl.
The petcock is good, i drained the gas tank through the petcock...
