Found your site through a link on another site. The 450 carb adjustment article was great, I fell in love with my 450 carbs the day after I got it when I needed to adjust the float level on one slightly and found that all I had to do was drop the float bowl and tweak the tang it a little. Anyway... I took a picture of thee of mine today while I had them out.

The '74 360, the '73 450, and the '75 750 are in the pic. I also have a '69 350 and a '75 400f... they are projects not shown here:

Excellent, nice collection you have going on there.

I'd love to see some pictures of the projects too.

Well okay... Here is the 400f project. The previous owner went crazy with the red metal-flake paint and the seat was simply grotesque. This is how I got it:

And this is how it's been for the last 6 months or so since it's been winter and I had things to do with the other bikes:

Here's the 350 the way I got it:

And the way it's been since last summer:

Lee...Just wondering...WHY don't you think it's a '74?..... (Looks like one to me)...
Remember, US models may be different from what you have down under....

Thanks for the comments everyone.

leethal - I looked through your 360 project thread, thats going to be a stunning bike when your done. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress pictures.

I'm sure of the year but I'll double check the paperwork and the frame number for the 360's birth year. I've rotated the "inventory" recently so I could be confused.

Well if it IS a '74 someone has put tank and sidecovers from a 'T' model on it. '74 models never came in red.

Okay... the frame says 6/74 but the title says 1975 so the 360 was manufactured in 1974 but not sold til 1975. I'd still have to call it a '74 model.

Personally, I never go by tank and side cover colors/design to presume a year since they're so easily changed.

For any given bike if I were to find a tank/side covers in better shape, or a color I liked better, then I wouldn't hesitate to swap them out if even they weren't "correct" for the year.

Lee...Not bad..... I don't know anything about all the Japanese domestic models, and not much about the many "euro" models.... That's why we SHARE this knowledge (at least what we DO know)..... :D
