Ok so originally I was looking for a headlight visor on eBay. I found one of the smaller ones after emailing a seller.

Headlight visor came in yesterday. it is a 5-3/4" one. Anyway after removing the chrome headlight ring, with a little bending and encouragement, the visor pops in comfortably. However upon reinstallation of the headlight, I notice that there is a huge gap between the surface of the ring and the headlight. I know that reinstallation of the headlight is supposed to compress-fit the headlight visor into place, but in my case there is a 2-4 mm gap between these surfaces, so the visor falls out on its own. Should I ditch the visor or is there some sort of fix for this? Thanks in advance!

try a strip of self adhesive weatherstripping tape (basicly foam with doublesided tape)...You should be able to "trim" it so it is not too noticable.....Available in a variety of thicknesses....It also helps with the "rattles".... Steve

Alright so I did not find that weather stripping tape, but I found some clear silicone sealer (same stuff they use to glue together aquariums glass I think). I put a bit on the chrome headlight ring and the visor and held the pieces together overnight, and now the headlight visor is held in place perfectly without any trace of adhesive.
