Strap is $3.95 NEW at ronayers .com, cover is $9.30- Don't bid on used auction parts until you check the prices new. A lot of the little pieces are still available, sometimes for less than you think.
And new looks even better than nice used.

I wasn't after the strap, just the cover. The cover is no longer available from Honda.

I got lucky. This was the first bike to actually HAVE that silly cover. I bought a new strap from the dealer for like 6 bucks just to celebrate. I always thought Honda held the battery in place with a bungee cord. :lol:
