Does anyone hate those spring-loaded shift drum stoppers as much as I do??

What a giant PIB those things are, I've always hated putting them all back together.

I was having a heck of a time trying to install mine with the transmission in neutral. I snicked it down into first and it was a piece of cake. Maybe my spring is shot! But it was very easy with the roller in a detent instead of sitting up on the neutral "bump"

Just my .02 cents.
