hi all,
sorry if this seems like a dumb question. my bike came without one carb and without most of the plumbing.

i'm pretty sure i know how honda had the fuel plumbing setup.

one line from tank side to tank side. one line from each side of the petcock to each carb.

and then does the balance line just connect the two carbs together at their intakes??

do i need that weird line that it shows in the manual with the spring type deal around it? i'm guessing this is so the line doesn't collapse under vacuum?

anyone have a diagram on this? i can't find any online, nor in the clymer nor in the honda factory manual.

(the bowl lines are just for overflow, no?)

thanks!

I evidently don't know what that hose with the wire around it is called.
I thought it was to keep the carbs in sync?

I don't have a pic that would do any good. That's the prob.

I guess i'll just take a pic of the carb and ask where each fitting goes

Aha! That's just braided fuel line? Okay. Looked so long it confused me.
Thanks!
