While trying to get my sprocket cover off, this happened. It’s about 1”x1”. Not in a vital spot of the engine case but still kicking myself. I know it can be welded but I also read about epoxying it. What are my options?

Make sur eit is very clean before you glue it. Any oil will cause the joint to fail.

What they said, and you may want to do some reading on their website, https://www.jbweld.com they have much useful info on surface prep and which product for what material being repaired.

One of my favorites is mixing in a drop or 2 of acetone to thin the mix allowing it to flow and adhere just a little more.

Thanks for the advice. Just ordered some and I’ll give this a try.
