Welcome aboard. I moved this post to the SOHC Engine section which is for your engine.
The Factory Service Manual, FSM, does not have any of the spec's it looks like you're asking for. Honda was replacing this part rather than rebuilding it in case of damage. The rods for all years of the CB/CM 400 engine are all the same. In the US we saw this engine from 1978 thru 1981, not sure about Europe.

I just found this thread while searching for SOHC 400/450 connecting rod length. Big end of the connecting rods is 38mm, Small ends are 17mm for the 400 and 18mm for the 450.

So center to center length of these rods is 1/2 of 38mm, and 1/2 of 17mm or 18mm plus the 72.38mm measured in the photo above = 99.88mm connecting rod length.

AlsoI took a look at CMSNL at a connecting rod bearing for an 86 450 Nighthawk, here's the list of engines that used the same:

i have a couple of 400 engines for parts but in florida usa.i would not know how to send a good one.one is 400 a and is mostly together the other is 400 t and apart.
