Hi all.

12 months later, Ive finally completed my CD250U rebuild. Having a few electrical issues, (see other post) but its 99.9% complete - Im more than happy - what an experience it was - learnt loads!
Few wires to tidy but its done!! yay! Ive included a pic of how it used to look too...

I preferred it as it was.

But each to their own, looks like a decent job.

I’m not much of a scrambler fan, but this is really nice!
Out of interest, what is the height of the seat now?

Thanks. Not sure on seat hight, but can still firmly get both feet flat footed. Rear shocks are 400mm eye to eye. Think stock were 330mm.

That’s what I was getting at, thinner seat but longer shocks sounds good, that’s what I ended up with, but it does change the fork rake. The CD is not aggressive to start with so should be barely noticeable.
