can anybody help I have nearly finished this rebuild but having trouble with the tick over, I have put new jets and seals in, ultrasonic cleaned,
over 2000 rpm its fine but on tick over it goes from 1100 to 2000 then down to 500 or lower then back again.

This is common with the early CV carbs. I believe yours has diaphragm carbs the same as the US CB350 models. I cured this on my 450 by replacing and lubricating the felt seals on the throttle shafts. I was able to grease them by using a aerosol lithium grease. Liquid Wrench sells it. To get the grease into the seal and bushing, use duct tape to tape the carb (head end) to a shop vacuum, put your hand over the intake side to create a vacuum inside the carb body and spray the grease into the shaft/bushing area. The vacuum should suck the grease in. Let me know how it comes out.
