So I posted this earlier thinking it was a carb problem but I noticed when I would put the spark plug cap on the spark plug and move it around it would cut in and out of firing on the left side. I tried a new cap and even cut off some wire and put the boot on and still the same thing. Could it be a bad coil?

It's a fouled plug.

Sorry I meant a new cap or whatever it's called, the thing that connects to the spark plug

It COULD be a bad coil, or as simple as a break/crack/cut in the plug wire's insulation which allows the electrical energy to ground before it reaches the plug.....
Is the plug wire loose or abraded at the coil end ?

Where the wire attaches to the coil it was kind of loose it seems and looks old . The coils are original!!! So it could be a bad coil I've ordered some new ones . The weird part is the bike use to run but not well but it ran on both cylinders with throttle but now finding out that moving the cap messed with it and that I've also rebuilt the carbs I feel like it's an spark problem not a fuel problem
