So, I FINALLY got a CL350! it is in pretty great condition, all hard stock parts there. Only needs a new set of coils and a tune up and I will re-paint it back to stock. Interestingly enough, a week after getting it, I was cruising by a motorcycle salvage yard and spotted a 70 and asked about parts. They said if i wanted it I could have it! Going to pick up my free parts bike today!

It is a 1969, CL350, and I think it was the pretty blue white which I will paint it back to when I finish the mechanicals and electrical.

Welcome aboard! Keep us updated on your progress and pitfalls if possible. That's already a pretty good looking bike.

Looks like you've got an eager little helper there too. ;)

Yep, my best buddy, my son! His name is Filiberto and he already knows where all the tools are! He loves motorcycles as much as I do already and is only three! Shoot, I didn't start living and breathing bikes till I was 9 so he has a jump on me...

I am picking up the p[arts bike this afternoon, finally arranged transpo since I sold my truck back winter.

It'll be great having a total parts machine sitting there!

Shoot, if it's in good enough nick, it'll be the second CL resto!

I do need a set of stock bars though, those mini ape hangers have to go!

Just got back from picking up the free parts bike! Well, it is all there except the airboxes, as it has some Filtron Green Weinies on it but they are hashed and I would never use them on a street bike anyway. The seat is hashed but mine is perfect. All the hard parts are there and it has a brand new set of tyres on it! The coils are there as well and on the first look, everything looks like it is in great shape.
