Hi Friends,

Great to join your company!

I finally managed to buy a almost fully restored CB450K5 MY1972.

The engine has been fully fixed, but there has been some minor problems with main fuse and spark plugs.

Some things are still on the purchase list to get and to make the bike as original.

Also I'm working on looking for all previous owners and bike's history aswell.

Cheers Reima

Welcome - it seems many of our members in that area of the world have DOHC 450s, nice to see. We absolutely want to see pictures, and it's good to hear you want to keep it original.

Thanks very much, and also for the great checklist.
I'll study it carefully.

Hi, I posted few pictures and there are more to come later.

CB450's are quite rare bikes among other vintage Japanese here in Finland.
The CB750 was a great hit in the 70's and do have them many as restored.

He did post one pic in his thread about the Candy Red color, and his profile pic is of him and the bike - but we're greedy, we want more

I do like his avatar though... been trying to think of something creative for a new one, Snoopy with a Bell helmet on is pretty cool

That Snoopy has a certain meaning, I have the same as my Facebook profile picture.
The picture is designed by a good friend of mine living in Portugal Estoril and he is also a Japanese Bikes' fan, now retired to his ranch and he used to be chief of service in Honda Portugal.
Also we both are fans for lifetime of Jarno The Baron Saarinen (we are not related), he was our first World Champion in TT, a Flying Finn and we lost him too early in the crash in Monza 1973.
He had the same kind of helmet and Snoopy on his leathers.
