Aye fellow members hows it going ? new to the forum. recently picked up and 73 cb350 about a month ago and have been slowly picking away at it. brief history pretty much been into anything mechanical since i was 16. I've had alot of toyota 4x4 & VW. A few years ago i was given a honda ruckus and thats when i got the bug to go a tad faster so instead of building that gets something with a bigger motor. will be asking a few questions here and there.

Thanks for your time !

alright fellow hondatwins,

im stumped. after getting the bike home road it around the neighborhood, the bike dies.
tried starting nothing. went down the basic.
check for spark on both sides = zero
battery is fully charged.
tried jumping power straight to the coil nothing.
tested the coils checked out good. 14 on the mulitimeter
checked all the grounds took them off and just sanded them ever so gently.
checked the kill switch that works there is continuity

when i tried jumping power straight to the coil i was expecting the coil to be warm or hot. neither
everything else works lights, turns, signals, neutral light, etc.

YES I've made sure the kill switch is on the "ON" position.

spark plugs are new.

im kinda lost on what to look for now.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Is this correct ? According to the manual this should be facing downward and out ya ?? The other side with the points is pointed correctly.

Hey jay5. I'm doing up a cb350 as well right now, and hail from Vancouver. Can lend you a hand when ever you wish.
