Picked up this CM400E cafe bike today, it's a mishmash of parts - GSXR front end, Hayabusa rotor, Harley Dyna front wheel, etc. but I'm in love nonetheless. What I'm wondering now is that I'd like to put a hugger over the rear wheel so it stops pelting the pod filter - what do you guys think is the best way to go about this? Thanks again, excited to be a member of this community!
Welcome to the forum. Great to see another 400 series here. Originally there was a plastic lower fender on the rear. I don't think it would suit that pretty bike though.
1/4" rod bent to a u shape to suit fender of choice hammed down flat in two spots to take threaded bolt holes welded to swing arm straight up near axle. Another one midway between that and swing arm pivot but with two braces running near swing arm pivot
