Hello all,

I am located in West Lafayette, Indiana. Hence the name Boiler, Purdue University. The cafe comes from the fact I am building a cafe racer.

I have a CB360 rolling frame, and motor. This isn't much to start with but I got it for free!

I am a mechanical engineer by trade and work for a contractor for Sikorsky Aircraft.

I have read several post here and knew I had found the place I would need and be able to use all the abundant resources.

Thanks for having such a great site.

Welcome aboard, the proliferation of 360's going under the knife seems to grow every day......and that's a good thing.

Remember, Pictures are always a good thing. ;)

Thank you all. I cannot wait to tap into your brains for help.

First order of business is getting my workbench finished for the garage. Second, full engine rebuild. The engine is already out of the frame and the kick start spindle has broken then PO tried to weld it back on and broke it again. By looking at Lee's pics it is pretty obvious I have to crack the cases to get to this. I am going to do a full inspection and at the very least replace all the rings and seals.

Your attitude about it all is a refreshing change from the "just make it run" approach we see so often.
You recognize the basic parameters you need to have down (compression, etc.), and are willing to do what's required.

I'm sure your project will be a terrific success - ride up and see me in LaPorte when you're done.
We'll steal a quick ride - I'll ride this little beauty -
(sorry, I like looking at it so much I have to add the photo)
