Hello all,

The front wheel area of my Honda CD250U 1989 has a habit of making a whirring, rubbing or grinding noise when it is moved forward at a slow rate, whether I am sitting on it or not and with the engine off (probably just can't hear it withbengine with engine on).

Its not the brakes, it sounds like maybe axle or something but I just can't locate the sound or get it to stop.

Any ideas on how to diagnose and/resolve? Need anymore info?

Raise the front tire off the ground and turn it back and forth slowly by hand . If its not smooth or makes a noise I would tear it down.

Most likely the wheel bearings need to be replaced.
