I need to replace the original pads on my 450 and 500 with something that works better. What is everyone else using? I suspect something aftermarket rather than NOS would be best.

I was looking into the same thing and the Sintered pads are much better although they are said to really wear on older rotors. I'm not 100% sure you can get that style pad for the 450's but if you can then it's just whether you want to replace pads or rotors more often. I can't speak from direct experience but that has been what I've read in more than one place. Has anyone else heard this?

I went through this exercise a few weeks ago and you will find that there are three or four different makers of CB450 pads on the market but they all use fairly standard compounds. If you find anything better we would all like to know about it.
