Usually the story of MY LIFE also, GB. :? Once in a while, I DO manage to come into some near stuff though, like the Super Hawk stuff from a SOHC4 buddy in Oklahoma.
But, Wisconsin is JUST A BIT too far away for me too!Take care, Bill
I just saw this thread and should probably chime in saying I'm awaiting the "giver of parts" to contact me for pickup. I seriously need to go thru the parts and see whats what. I do plan to move on the few things that i do not need to group members in both MSN DOHC and here. Keep in touch, danWI
I did finally get thru to "giver of parts" and arranged pickup this week. IF anyone needs K5- K7 DOHC 450 parts, feel free to drop me a line. Prices will be basement (i'd like to re-coop my gas cost from this) and shipping at cost. Glad to help out fellow honda-nuts

well, pickup/sorting is done and suprises had! its looking like there is 3 engines worth of parts (450 K3, 450 K5, CB500T) and a fairly complete titled cb450. parts bins include 3 clutches, starters, engine covers, point covers, shift drums, foot pegs, frame rubber sets, cables, electrics, and lotsa fasteners! sadly, i dont see any torsion bars or valves.
now the suprise being that the titled cb450 has a dual disk setup (possibly a cb750F front end?), trails tires and some work done on the engine. seems someone was interested in a street tracker. not really sure what todo with that one... i want to keep her but realistically will sell her to anyone here interested in building a cafe or racer.
so, i have the keeper-parts separated out and will happily sell (at base rate + shipping) to members here. email me requests and i'll send photos. glad to help ya'lls out, danWI
p.s. i also have some CL450 and CL 350 parts to sell off if anyone here is interested.

Really glad to see that my little post was a great score! (Suddenly feeling all warm and fuzzy)
Glad it worked out for ya and at the price ya got it for, if I were you, that 450 would be sitting there waiting for me to make up my mind as to what "I" was going to do with it!

Whats the details on the exhaust that's still on the mostly complete bike? I may be interested?

exhaust is a medium guage aftermart 2 into 1 with a roughly cut collector. i am thinking a later muffler/collector welded on and the whole exhaust wrapped in fiber. also, the tappet/valve covers i have FS are in the pics. any of those strike your fancy, i'll send detail pics. thanks for your interest! danWI
