I am in need of fork tubes for my 69 K2. One is pretty badly bent and both severely pitted.
I would really like to go to internal spring forks, however, I still want to keep the front drum brakes (like the look)
Might there be a compatible front end out there that would allow me to keep the drum brake? There appears to have at least two iterations of the front ends in 1969
My tubes don't have the tapered ends that go into the triple clamps (see pics)

Finding these particular tubes has been quite a challenge. Anybody have any or know of possible sources?

By the picture, your tubes do have the slimmer ends that fit into the top bridge. The early CB450 and the CL450K3 and K4 use the style you have. You can look for a CL450K5 front end but though it will fit the frame, I'm not sure it will be compatible with your current drum brake front wheel (though it does have a drum, I have a K5). The K5 uses the pinch-bolt type top bridge like the later CB450s do, I'm just not sure of the axle/fork lower compatibility
