I have my cb500T engine open and regards to the gear shift forks I find them in good condition exept for the center wich have a point of tear one cm in from the fork end. When I look for replacements I find that CMSNL describe this part as the C4 when the one in my engine is C2. Is there anyone that have a clue what is correct? Does the cb450 have the same forks?
My forks have these numbers; R8, C2, L1

If you're referring to casting numbers on the forks themselves, that's not how Honda identifies them as specific parts in the fiches. The 3 different part numbers are the same for both the CB450K5 shift forks and the CB500T forks, 24211-292-020, 24221-292-020, and 24231-292-030 (the center fork). I'm not fond of the fiches for the CB500T at cmsnl.com as they are not as quickly and easily read, but the info is there.
