I went out today on the bike with a friend on his BSA, in the UK it has been the first sunny day for about a month in the South. My friend has a BSA Starfire 250 and we rode about 30 miles all told. the journey was from Netley to Warsash where the first pics were taken. Then along the coast to Solent Breezes and then Further on to Lee on Solent where we stopped for some more pics. In the distance you can see the Isle of Wight, we were pretty much opposite Osbourne where Queen Victoria had her residence Osbourne House built. Then a satisfying ride home. Simon had to fill up the BSA and believe it or not he filled 6.5l and had 150 miles on the trip meter an astonishing 105 mpg (imperial gallons 4.45l). They sure knew how to build bikes. Whats more the 250 single sounded wonderfull it was noiser than the Bomber!!!!!!!!.
Nige
Hope you like the pics of South UK

Hi Ronnie
Fortunately those days have gone, the only attacks you might encounter at the sea front would be the seagulls trying to have your icecream or chips :D
