Hi all, I've posted already but did not know about the new member introductions so here I am. My 1980 CB400T Hawk is my second real motorcycle I've owned and my first Honda twin. I have already found this site to be an amazing resource and I can't wait to further get to know the bike and the community! It has less than 5k miles so I hope it has a lot of life left in it!

P.S. Does anybody know what those chrome fins in the back are for? Other than hitting my shins lol.

That chrome bracket is part of the support for a rear carry-rack, possibly for a trunk......

Other chrome bits on/at the rear of the bike indicate it once had saddlebags as well...........

Could have been a smaller version of the Interstate Goldwings and Silverwings.
