I'm not a welder myself, but from my truck forum, I can tell ya that JB weld won't stand up to regular exhaust heat :) try a muffer shop and see if they can weld you in a new piece?

If it is not fixable are there tips I can get welded on and not mess up my air fuel jettings etc? The main pipes up to the end part seem pretty solid.

I never did really learn how to weld but I have brazed-on small sheet metal 'patches' to many spots on oem stock motorcycle mufflers and they were good for many years after that, cosmetically it looks repaired but my customers didn't care about that.I usually did that type of repair on the bottoms or back sides of the mufflers.A good tig welder person can fix that right up no problem. ;)

Well I tired a little JB weld putty, I mean its going to get cut or welded if needed anyway. It has held strong for 200 miles so I am pretty happy with that. When winter comes I can pull the entire thing off and take it for a proper fix.
