Damn, I hate when that happens. Look at the shift lever and be sure there's clearance between it and the case cover. That's really about the only thing with a parked drop.

Everyone drops a bike at some point in time, usually in front of a bunch of friends who will never let you forget it until they do it themselves. If you'd dropped the bike while maneuvering I could see the fail, while parked and dismounting not.
