Hello, I am in the process of installing a KA Performance cam chain tensioner on my bike and while I was removing the old roller assembly a series of unfortunate events led me to dropping one of the plastic tabs (item no. 11 in the attached image) into the crankcase... I rotated the crankshaft a couple of times and cannot see the tab down there. Anyone have any suggestions of getting it out other than splitting the crankcase? I thought about somehow turning it upside down and blowing compressed air into the crankcase to try to move it around enough that it would find its way out, but I don't know...

You're not the first one to do that. There is some steel on that piece, so you could fish down the tunnel with a magnet on a stick. I've read about people turning the engine upside down and shaking it around. Some would take a chance and leave it in there. Me? I'd just bite the bullet and split the cases.
