Anyone interest in writing for the hondatwins.net blog?

1 post per week is all we need.

Shoot me a PM or email from the board with a link to your blog, or something you've written.

Need some help with someone who is willing to help out and volunteer some time! Looking for 2 or 3 people.

Thanks,

Jason

Well, let me be the first to say that I'm no writer, but I'm willing to join any potential "think-tank" that you guys can come up with. We can exchange any ideas or add input to whatever anyone has already written..

Just a quick thought for now.

Motorcycles. Hondas. Twin related.

Good posts on the forums, completed projects. How to's. All of these are good.

Have an idea? Send it on. We can make it work if it's in the same vien as what were doing here on the forums.

Jason,

My thanks to NathanMT01 for doing a great job on the cover page and to you for coming up with the idea.

Hey there,

I am new to the site as I am in the process of hunting down good places to get information. You are one of the only ones who I have seen request a blog writer. I will try to dig up some old blog entried and email you or PM, I used to have one on my myspace...

Anyhow, I am in the process of restoring my first bike...a blue 1969 CB450K, a bit worse for wear and I have my work cut out for me.

I have built or "hopped up" bikes in the past...as a matter of fact I found this old website that was still active on a server that I created after upgrading my 1999 Sportster 883. Take a look.

http://www.tomgsportsterproject.homeste ... page1.html

My idea for the blog would be to write about the journey of the restoration, what good sites I have found, good information out there, how I prep for it, and what to steer clear of. Also, any fun that I have along the way and on riding the CB750 with some local folks. Just became a member of the VJMC so I am looking for local enthusiasts to ride with and shoot the stuff.

Well that is my two cents for now!

As a high school English teacher, I fancy myself an above-average writer. Plus, because my 500T is my first bike and in need of major rehabbing, chronicling that journey could be a source of amusement and/or pain.

After reading my writing, though, you may decide that it's worth exactly what you're paying for it... ;)

EDIT: If you mods would like a sample of my writing, I'd be happy to share.

I'm not much of a writer, but a motorcycle photographer. Would be willing to lend a hand.

In the past, I ran my own motorcycle blogs. bluecollarmoto.blogspot.com and then the newbluecollarmoto.blogspot.com. Ive left the new Blue blog up to keep all my old pix but have some friends running it now for me. Got burnt out hitting every event and taking 1000s of pix every weekend. I'm now just getting my new creation off the ground, bluecollarmotosmetalfoundry.blogspot.com, which is more about casting metal parts for motorcycles than pix of motorcycles, events, etc, but I have tons of pix I could share from over the years. I'm still attending some events where there are Honda Twins in attendance and could take pix.

I had some good following. I think that most of the 900 regular followers appreciate most bikes, even though most of my pix fit into the Harley chopper world. When I quit doing it last Dec I was getting about 1500 hits per day. People like pix! Haha Ive even had some of my pix published in magazines.

Let me know.
Chris aka Blue Collar Moto

Are you still looking for writers to help with the blog? I'd be glad to pitch in. For writing samples you can view:

http://www.nashvilleriders.com/index.ph ... ar-silence

http://www.nashvilleriders.com/index.ph ... the-editor

http://www.nashvilleriders.com/index.ph ... int-st-955

http://www.nashvilleriders.com/index.ph ... dirt-devil

You might have guessed Nashvilleriders.com is my site so you can find a lot of my writing there.

You will also find several reviews I've written over at webbikeworld.com. You can just search webbikeworld.com for Brandon and you'll see my articles.
