Mostly I believe it is things like light lenses, size and pattern, warning stickers, compliance stickers more so than actual parts.
You do want to be aware of the differences of the models up to and including K3 and the K4/K5 models in regards to the front ends. Basically other than the wheel/hub and brake panel nothing fits the other.
You can check part numbers quite easily on CMSL by signing in and when looking at a part check the list of the bikes it fits.
