Does anyone have any experience with this kit from Cycle Exchange?
Seems interesting as an improvement to stock, or those who have additional electrical loads. It seems this kit applies to bikes that are kickstart only.
If anyone has any info or comments, please post!

See about halfway down on their webpage:

I for one installed a Oregon cycle Reg/rect unit and don't have a problem. I do like their 750 products and am hoping to use some on my 750 someday. Maybe someday when I just want to put around if it can support a heated vest.

I have not had any experience with that product, but have had a lot of dealings with Cycle-X with their CB 750 products. The products are top notch, and the service is excellent. I have called them many times with questions, and they have been nothing but friendly and helpful. My thought would be to call them, and ask them your questions about the charging system. I am sure they will be happy to speak with you about it.

Horrible website design though *cringes*
What.... Did they hire a monkey to develop that? LOL
It's a Wassel brand(pretty much the same as Chinese made Sparx copy) replacement for the Lucas three-phase alternator, adapted to fit the Honda. Kick start only because there is no provision on the back of the rotor for the electric starter clutch. There is a similar kit out there to fit the Yamaha XS650. This style alternator works fine, you can run battery-less if you wire in the right sized capacitor.
On the other hand, is it worth 400 dollars to get a few more amps? Unless I was going to run heated grips or an electric vest I would spend the bucks on something else.
