Hello!

I'm reassembling my Superhawk engine, and would like to know about the crush washers at the very top of the head. Some (all) of them have to seal oil? The originals appear to be aluminum. I can get copper washers. I always had a bit of leakage from some of these washers. I just don't know if copper is hard enough.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Copper is just fine and is used in later engines. I can't remember if these sealing washers are necessary on all eight studs but my parts book shows them as such.

Ok, super! I suspected as much. Yes, they are on all the studs. GG
