I just replaced the camshaft in my '74 CB360, and started to do a tune-up: Adjusted the cam-chain tensioner, started to adjust the valves, then a clicking sound started coming from the valve area when I rotate the alternator. I tried loosening all the valves, but it's still there. So, I loosened and then tightened the cam-chain tensioner (if the index mark on the stator is 12 o'clock, the LT mark is at 9 o'clock, and all valves are closed), to no avail.
Could it be a improperly installed camshaft?
