I found just the right brush that is perfect for removing aluminum oxidation deep down in the bottom of the valleys between the fins in the head and barrels of a Honda twin. This brush gets down where other methods such as using strips of 3M green pads, like I previously tried, couldn’t reach. This brush is designed to clean auto wheel lug nuts. I found it at Home Depot for about $4. See pic.

I used it in conjunction with a small amount ( 2 oz.) of Mystery oil to soften the oxidation. After cleaning, I washed them with hot water / dish soap bath followed by clear water rinse and compressed air drying.

A good tip! Vapour blasting produces a nice result but it's not the original finish and what you've done looks great!
