Hey, anybody have in their stash or have a source for a big bore (337cc) head gasket for a CB72/CB77. A customer pulled the head of his old machine to find a 337 kit installed and no source for an appropriate head gasket replacement.
I spoke of having one laser cut, but got the "that's gonna be expensive" response. Well, you got an esoteric situation on an esoteric bike....
Any ideas for modifying a stock one?

Thanks, NE

making a copper head gasket for a specialized application is fairly simple..... Just takes some careful measuring and cutting/drilling...... laser-cutting would be the way to go for 100% accuracy, but not absolutely necessary to get a good result.......

I am also looking for that gasket. I have seen one or two on ebay over the last few years. $40 or more plus, so if you are going to make them, make a few to sell. If it was a CB-CL72 big bore, just use a standard 305 gasket. Dennis in Wisconsin
