Hi all,
I am building a 69 CL450 K2 and the wiring on it is really rough. There are some after market harnesses on eBay for a CB450 K0. Could I modify it to fit my bike?
Should I build my own? I'm new to motorcycles and the forum. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome Ryan.

My first stop would be to visit Products. Matt (a member here) is going to have the best available harness and electrics for your bike. If your harness is just a little crusty and needs refreshing you can buy aftermarket bullet connecters/deutsche 4-pin connectors and re-work the ends like I did and re-wrap the main harness with loom. It can be done - just takes time and patience. I had never done a wiring harness before and I was able to re-work mine (even replacing a few runs) to get a good harness for my CL350.

And if you don't have a wiring diagram to follow I believe that this is the correct one (according to HondaTwins).

Thanks Curtis! It will have to have a new harness because someone has cut it up in a few places and I want to have good wiring for the bike.
