I have a 1970 Honda CL450 that has been in storage for 25 years and had it tuned up(carbs rebuilt, plugs, point etc.) last year at a Honda dealer. I took it out for a ride a coupler of weeks ago and it start to run rough at around 60 mph. I took it back to the Honda dealer and he rode it, he believes it is a electical problem. In the shop it run perfect, but on the rode at around 60 mph it starts to run rough. Is it possible that the coil to the left cylinder is bad or maybe a bad connection.. Just trying to come up with any suggestions that might help solve this problem. Thanks engstromr

Hows the plug caps and leads? I'd check those and possibly swap them over before I ruled out the coil....although a 40 year old coil is not ideal

EDIT: D'oh I just realised those leads cannot be swapped.....maybe check them for cracks?
