The metal safety bars that bend to prevent the nuts from coming out, do I have to worry they will break or such when I bend them back to remove?

My understanding is that they could be reused a few times, I wonder if annealing them would help any?

They're pretty soft metal and will bend quite a few times before breaking, much like the lock tab under the nut in the oil filter cup on the 350s and 450s. Sometimes the nuts line up with a different tab when tightened after re-installation, one that hasn't been bent previously (depends on how much you tighten them, but be careful of course)

Put the new rear sproket on. Holding both up I couldn't really see any difference in the teeth after abou 10,000 miles, but I got this far so new one goes on.
