Okay!
Inspired by this thread:
http://www.hondatwins.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=659
I have made a list of nuts & bolts from the CL350 Fiche (which I printed & laminated for use with greasy fingers!) found here:
http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_select2.asp?category=Motorcycles&make=Honda&year=1971&fveh=3143
I dont claim that it is fully comprehensive as the parts list on the fiche is sometimes doubled, or some nuts & bolts just only have a honda part & no size, but it is a pretty good start that you can take to your local bolt supply & get stainless bits for your rebuild. Or else go to BoltDepot.com & place your order!
I divided my list up by type & size unlike Bill who split his by area.
If they dont have one of the listed lengths, just get the next longer one.
Also, I intend to add 10% or so to this order for wastage/spares.
I have the list on a txt file so pm me if interested
Next stop; AES Bolt Supply!

I think my list is divided by area, then size/type as well - the formatting jsut got a little scrambled translating it into Microshaft Word.
I also have a list for CB200.....

So where's your list, dude???

That's a good looking list.

Bills list had the totals for each bolt size in addition to the category. The totals were in the right had column. The phillips for the carb caps were down at the bottom by themselves.

The catagories are helpful for me as I go to put things back together. For example, I went out this morning to put the instruments back together and the catagories were helpful in finding the right bolts. Otherwise I would have had to find the original size bolts and match them up. Unfortunately the originals were rolling around with a bunch of other bolts in a container.

Your list will be helpful to me on my '68 CL350 though. I plan to pull it all apart next winter and take it down to the frame and take the motor apart.

Thanks

I forgot to mention this suggestion. As I placed my order the vendor did not have all the odd sizes. For example 6x32, 6x71 would be considered odd sizes to my vendor. They asked if I could go to the next longer size (as Bill mentioned) and I readily agreed. They may have been able to order the proper size but it wasn't necessary to me.

You might consider consolidating some of the lengths that are close together. Maybe 6x35 and 6x38 could just be (7) 6x38. 5mm = 1/4" (.196) so unless you have a particular need for the exact it might be easier on you and the person 'picking' the order to consolidate wherever possible. It also makes it a little easier when trying to keep bolts organized in your bins.

If you can make any ammendments to my list, please do so and post the file so we can all get it.
I sure will Bill. I'm just now starting to use the new bolts and I'll update the categories as I go along.
